NLC Tampa Bay Announces Key Leadership and Board Members for 2016 – 2017

Tampa Bay, FL – The Tampa Bay Chapter of New Leaders Council announced Lorena Hardwick and Nicholas Glover as the chapter’s Co-Directors for the 2016-2017 program year. The organization also announced key leadership and chair positions listed below:

NLC Tampa Bay is in its third year of operations as a premier leadership development program for young, progressive, and civic minded leaders. The board represents emerging leaders that come from various sectors in the Tampa Bay region, including legal, non-profit, education, public policy, local government, technology, and business. The Co-Directors and Board will begin the process of recruiting for the next cohort of NLC Fellows that will begin in January 2017. Deadline for applications is November 14, 2016. About New Leaders Council

New Leaders Council is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit leadership development organization whose mission is to recruit, train and promote the next generation of progressive leaders. NLC operates a one weekend a month, five month training institute which focuses on training these next leaders in entrepreneurship, fundraising/finance, communications/new technology, political/business/non-profit management, and policy issues (local and national). NLC operates the institute in 44 communities nationwide with over 3,000 alumni that have come through its ranks since 2006. Many of our alumni have gone on to run for public office, start innovative businesses and run non-profits.
